Terms of Use for the DACA Message board, and Disclaimer:

By submitting posts to the DACA Message board, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined below; as well as assume all liability for each post you submit to the message board.

Absolutely No . . .

Spam: a.k.a. spamming, unsolicited advertising of any type, junk messages or mail, unapproved promotions, any type of unsolicited cyber garbage. Basically trying to get a free ride and make a buck off of others efforts and or trusting nature.

Or Slamming: a.k.a. flaming, being rude, impolite or basically being a jerk to other people, cursing or otherwise being out of line. If someone presents a view/question/statement that you do not agree with, you are free to post that you disagree, and back up your reasons if you so choose. However, you must do so in a non-provocative, non-attacking, way. Points can be made, and you can educate persons without being rude and offensive. Educating persons who are interested in Dogo's and giving constructive opinions benefit the breed. And as always, remember, this is a family oriented site and we want you to feel free to let your children surf this site without worry.

POSITIVELY NO Advertising of pups, upcoming litters, stud services etc., on the message board. Posting pics of dogs or your new pup is allowed, however posting photos of  litters by breeders, or any insinuation or suggestion that the dog or pups are available or the dog is standing at stud...or any links to kennels posted as an attempt to advertise their kennel or litter, will result in immediate removal of the post, and is in violation of the terms of use.

Three Strikes and You're OUT: In the interest of fairness, a Board Moderator or the Admin may warn you if you are failing to follow the terms of use, two times. This notification will be sent via e-mail to the offender in private.* On your third failure, and subsequent notice, to follow the terms of use, you may be banned from the message board, or have your member name rendered inoperable. The DACA, and the Admin of the board reserve the right to ban a person, or make that persons member name inoperable on their first offense, IF the offense warrants such actions.

*We are not responsible for misdirected e-mails, bad e-mail addresses, etc. when trying to contact you in regards to offenses.

What exactly is SPAM?!?!?!

Here is an example . . . Have you ever seen a message or got an e-mail that said . . . .

"Turn $6 into 6,000 in just 10 days!!!"

OR

"Awesome affordable insert spam product here available at www.whateverspamwebsite.com"

Or something very similar?

This will not be tolerated on DACA Message boards. It uses bandwidth, causes our readers to have to sift through this junk, and uses space on DACA servers, which has a dollar value. If you post this kind of garbage, we can and will trace your post, contact your ISP and report your SPAMMING practices.

We've seen them all . . . that's the type of stuff we, as webmasters, have to clean up.

That's part of the friendly service you receive when you visit DACA.org. As DACA.org guest we want you to enjoy "junk free" message boards. You do should not have to worry about the cleanup . . . if only email was so easy.....

What can you do to help discourage this type of activity on this board? Simple . . . Ignore it. Board Admin and or Moderators, will come through and delete unwanted posts. if you want, email board admin, or the board moderator  and alert them.

That said, there are some things that are considered "border-line SPAM" . . . Like someone providing a link to another web site or e-mail and phone number to a service. The moderator or administrator will look at the purpose of the message . . . is it part of a response to another readers question? or is just a blatant link to a "Resource" or to a commercial site / company simply wanting to take advantage of "your" board to advertise? Was it posted by a board regular who was trying to help by providing info? or was it posted by the owner or representative of the product/site? We will consider each case, but any posts seen as commercial will be deleted without apology or warning.

NO commercial activity will be tolerated on this board. This includes but is not limited to Pups for sale, adult Dogo's for sale, stud service, etc. There are places all over the internet that allow you to place such ads. The DACA Message board is NOT one of them.
