Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) is becoming a world wide concern for any dog owner but more specifically, for owners of "bully breeds," or dogs resembling bully breeds. BSL, for those who do not know, is legislation directed at specific breeds of dogs, rather than legislation directed at a dog’s or dog owners behavior.   Although most BSL has most often been directed at “Pit Bulls”, many large breed dogs like the Dogo Argentino and other "bully breeds," are often confused by many people in the general public as being “Pit Bulls,” therefore it is a concern for Dogo owners as well.  You should know the  canine/dog ownership laws of your communities and stay on top of any lawmakers proposing BSL or any canine related legislation.  Here are links to many sites dedicated to this important topic.
