Paloma

Paloma was rescued from the Miami-Dade County Shelter in Miami, FL. She was patiently waiting in line to be led to the euthanasia room when a volunteer from "Best Friends Rescue," spotted her. The volunteer pleaded with the powers that be at the shelter to please give them over night to find a rescue to take her. The shelter agreed and Paloma got a second chance at life.

That was way back in June, 2001. For some reason that we can't figure out, Paloma is still here. Doesn't anyone want a nice dog as a pet? We "guesstimated" her age to be 2-4 years old when she came into our rescue program. She's not getting any younger and her love and affection for people isn't being used to its fullest capacity.

She truly loves people. All people. Men. Women. Children. She loves everybody. She even successfully passed the American Temperament Test Society's temperament test in June, 2002. "Officially" she is Paloma TT. Any drawbacks? Only one. She prefers her cats raw.

If you would like a nice dog in your life, please contact the rescue chair via the link below.

Contact the DACA Rescue Chairperson if you would like to adopt Paloma.
